Lil’ Red is such a trouble maker. We do not condone such behavior.
So, I was reading on TV Tropes about classifying characters according to the four temperaments, (Warning! Link to TV Tropes! Not responsible for time wasted!)
and I came up with this little image. I arranged the three main characters and three of the secondary characters according to how I thought they fit.
New Flash game on Kongregate! Stabbing Contest!
by acaudel on April 11, 2012 at 1:01 amSo, in 2008 I made a game called “Staring Contest”. Of course I had to follow it up almost 4 years later with another game called “Stabbing Contest“! It only makes sense. It’s probably going to be more popular than Angry Birds and Words With Friends combined!

Here’s a new animation of Lil’ Red for the game I’m working on, Dummy Duck VII. His character is going to move differently than Dummy. He can float around, and he’s not affected by gravity. Also, he’s smaller than Dummy. This means he can get into places that Dummy can’t. I’m going to try to work this feature into the game in some cool ways.
So, here’s another new animation for the new Dummy Duck game I’m working on. It’s Dummy picking up an item.
I might still do some minor adjustments to it, but overall I think it looks good. I drew it out with pencil and paper first and scanned it in, then combined drawing new stuff with pre-existing pieces. Here’s the full sprite sheet of what I’ve got so far.
I still have a lot more to do, but I thought I’d just post what I’ve got so far just to show that I’m still working on the game. Right now I’m mostly still figuring out the structure of it. I’ll post more stuff as I continue to make more progress!
Walk animation for an old-school style video game
by acaudel on February 21, 2012 at 6:29 pmHere’s something I made a few months ago. It’s a simple walk animation I did for a video game I’m sporadically working on. It’s got the same limited color palette as the old Nintendo games to give it that old-school NES feel. I’ll keep working on the game off and on, and as I do I’ll post more updates.
